Louis van Gaal is clearly not the talk of the town out in Australia, in fact they clearly have no idea what he looks like.
In a regional Australian newspaper, they used a picture of Harold Bishop from Neighbours instead of Van Gaal to accompany a piece about the Dutch manager.
For someone who is renowned to have an inflated ego, I’m sure Van Gaal would have been more than pleased to see that Australia doesn’t know what he looks like. For the rest of us, it’s funny.
More to the point, how did nobody notice a picture of Harold Bishop staring back at them from the page?
The article is a bit of a sub editors’ nightmare as they have replaced “Gaal” with “Goal” in the headline too. Taxis all round.
Aside from mistaking Harold Bishop for LVG, what's up with this headline? pic.twitter.com/iluz98PDqa
