Louis van Gaal makes his first transfer move for Manchester United

Louis van Gaal has blocked Nani’s exit from Manchester United as he is part of his plans, according to The Mirror.

Reports today suggested the Portuguese winger was heading for a cut-price £10 million exit from Old Trafford which seemed a very low price for someone as talented as Nani in his prime years, especially considering he signed a new five year deal with United this year.

Van Gaal might not officially be Manchester United’s manager but with a deal expected to be announced within 24 hours, he’ll be working on things behind the scenes.

Hopefully these reports are true because Nani is a game changer. He has had a torrid couple of seasons due to injury but prior to that, he was consistently one of our most influential wingers.

He has never been able to replace Ronaldo like we hoped but there are others wingers in the squad who deserve to be sold ahead of Nani.

At 27, Nani’s got plenty more to give and if he can have a storming World Cup, he’ll come back next year raring to go.

Of course, Nani already did his part to impress Van Gaal back in 2011 as he was manager of Bayern Munich when Nani did this…
