Paris St Germain starlet Kingsley Coman is ‘99% certain’ to leave the club in order to improve his chances of first team football, according to reports.
The 17-year-old hasn’t made as many appearances for PSG’s first team as he wanted and is set to reject his first professional contract in order to pursue a move elsewhere.
Manchester United have been following Coman for a while and now that it seems more than likely he will leave, there’s every chance we’ll follow up our interest.
The last time Manchester United signed a French midfielder into the academy his name was Paul Pogba and he turned out to be pretty decent. Could Coman have a similar growth curve to that of Pogba?
Coman certainly has some real natural talent as this highlights clip shows from one game in the UEFA Youth League cup game against Real Madrid this season.
Pace to burn, agility, intelligent with an eye for a pass and confident enough to play with both feet are an impressive set of attributes for any 17-year-old.
There are plenty of other clubs interested in signing Coman so while United would love to bring somebody that talented into the academy, there will be competition for his signature.
