David de Gea‘s stunning save to stop Luis Suarez scoring at Old Trafford has been named Match of the Day’s save of the season.
The stunning reflex save from point blank range received 19% of the vote ahead of Wojciech Szczesny’s save against Crystal Palace that received 15%.
It’s the least De Gea deserves after a fantastic season.
Here’s a reminder of how good that save was.
De Gea also celebrated breaking his own personal record by making more appearances (51) this season than in any previous campaign in his career. Well done De Gea.
