Last season, Sir Alex Ferguson took the microphone and addressed the Old Trafford crowd after our last home game and gave his final speech as Manchester United manager.
Last night, Ryan Giggs took the microphone and addressed the Old Trafford crowd after our last home and gave what was his only speech as a Manchester United manager, and potentially his last at home as a United player.
Both speeches were packed with emotion but it’s hard to fathom that our greatest ever manager and most decorated player could both leave within 12 months of each other.
“Nothing’s changed,” Giggs said on his future after the game.
“I’ll wait until the season’s finished and think about it in next two weeks.”
Could Giggs have played his last home match as a United player?
