Shinji Kagawa’s agent has intimated that his future at Manchester United depends on what Louis van Gaal‘s plans are for next sesaon.
The 25-year-old endured a stuttering season and although a good run of form towards the end was his highlight in a United shirt so far, there is no guarantee he’ll have a spot in the starting XI next year.
By the sounds of it, Kagawa’s agent Thomas Kroth is well aware of this and wants to leave the possibility of him leaving United out in the open.
“Kagawa will play at the World Cup”, Kroth said.
“Then he will see what the new coach of Manchester United, Van Gaal, plans.
“At present it is very difficult to leave the club.”
As Kroth mentioned, Van Gaal’s decision on what to do with the team is going to shape everything but if there is no space for Kagawa in a starting XI, would he be willing to stay at the club and play a squad role or would he seek a move away for first team fooball?
