Here is the latest Manchester United transfer gossip from around the web.
Alexis Sanchez does look likely to leave Barcelona this summer and although the Manchester Evening News is reporting that Manchester United are very much interested in signing Sanchez, Arsenal and Liverpool are the two front runners in question if he were to leave.
The Telegraph are even reporting that Arsene Wenger wants to do a double deal for Sanchez and Vidal.
Another player who was all over the press yesterday was Angel di Maria following an article from Spanish newspaper El Confidencial which claimed Jorge Mendes was orchestrating a move away from Madrid to Manchester for the tricky winger.
Those reports suggest Di Maria would cost €50m to any potential suitor, a fee which would make him United’s most expensive ever signing if a deal went through.
Elsewhere, Toni Kroos has denied he has agreed to join anyone and won’t do so until after the World Cup, so we will still have to wait and see on that front.
The future doesn’t look too good for Phil Neville at United as Louis van Gaal doesn’t want him to continue in a first-team coach capacity but Phil will more than likely be offered a position with the younger teams which wouldn’t be a bad thing.
Lastly, Andy Mitten believes United are confident of completing 2/3 more transfers and if that were the case, with Herrera and Shaw already secured, it would be a magnificent summer.
