Milan been linked with linked a move for Manchester United winger Nani, while Patrice Evra considers his Juventus move according to reports.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoneri have approached the Old Trafford club to enquire after Nani.
Previously a target for Juventus and Inter, the Portugal international is available for around €8m (£6.5m) and therefore cheaper than some of Milan’s other options.
The problem would remain his wages, which at €3.5m per season are steep for a club not even in Europe this season.
Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia also claim United defender Evra is taking time out to think about his Juventus move in the wake of Antonio Conte’s departure, after the club announced that he had terminated the contract by mutual consent.
As Conte was a large part of Evra’s decision to join the Bianconeri, it’s reported he is now waiting to find out who is going to be on the bench before finalisingthe move.
Current candidates for the job are Roberto Mancini, Massimiliano Allegri, LucianoSpalletti and Zinedine Zidane.
And AC Milan could offer Nani a new challenge next season, with the Rossoneri reportedly interested in signing the Portuguese winger this summer.
Sky Italia suggests that Nani has emerged as a surprise target for Milan as their pursuit of Italy winger Alessio Cerci has grown increasingly complicated over the last couple of days, due to Torino have so far refused to sell and the seven-time European Cup winners look now set to focus on the 27-year-old.
According to reports in Italy, Nani, who had previously attracted interest from Inter Milan, Juventus, Galatasaray and Monaco will be available for around €8m – £6.5m – though his wages could potentially present a stumbling block for Milan.
With Louis Van Gaal officially taking charge of United today, Nani is likely to be among the players the Dutchman will want to assess between now and the start of the season. Having managed only 13 appearances in all competitions last season and having failed to impress at the World Cup – even though he was on the scoresheet as Portugal drew with the USA – the Portuguese’s days at Old Trafford could be numbered.
Van Gaal is thought to be keen to bring a winger to the club, particularly given how the Dutchman’s preferred 4-3-3 formation strongly relies on wide players but with the emerging Adnan Januzaj almost sure to be given even more opportunities and Antonio Valencia signing a new deal, Nani could soon find himself to be surplus to requirements.
