Here is the latest Manchester United transfer gossip from around the web including Jurgen Klopp’s words on whether Mats Hummels could join United and reports of a fresh bid for Juan Cuadrado.
Yesterday, Spanish newspaper Sport.es. published a report which suggested Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels was going to join United for a fee in the region of €20m. Soon after, the reports were mirrored in England which created a bit of a buzz about the German international.
However, as quickly as the excitement grew, it was shot down by Jurgen Klopp who insisted there was no truth to any rumours linking Hummels with a Dortmund exit.
Moving on from Hummels, Sport.es suggests a bid of €35m is in the pipeline for Juan Cuadadro. It isn’t the first time United have been linked with a move for the Colombian winger and it’s unlikely to be the last either for a player who has been strongly linked with both United and Barcelona.
Elsewhere, United face competition from Southampton to Stefan de Vrij. The 22-year-old Dutch defender was on the verge of joining Lazio earlier in the transfer window but his future at this moment is uncertain, although it does look like he will be leaving Feyenoord this summer.
To finish, Sneijder’s name has reared its head once again and has refused to go away thanks to reports from Spain.
