Nani linked with Manchester United exit and move to Arsenal – report

by Sam Peoples

Following constant speculation linking Nani with a move away from Old Trafford, reports now suggest that London could be the likely destination for the 27 year old with Arsenal the suitors.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola believes Arsene Wenger will make an offer of €11m to Manchester United for the services of the winger who has failed to live up to the form he showed early on in his United career but suggests the club will hold out for €14m.

Nani’s undeniable talent is there for all to see occasionally but he has failed to produce on the big stage enough and with the appointment of Louis Van Gaal as United boss, it is believed that Nani, along with Javier Hernandez, Shinji Kagawa and Anderson could soon find themselves out of the exit door.

United and Arsenal have been heavily linked to each other’s players this summer including the likes of Thomas Vermaelen and Chris Smalling.

A move to the Emirates would be of interest to the tricky winger as it would be seen as a fresh start following an Old Trafford career which has gone stale and with a side who are playing Champions League football.
