PICTURES: Cristiano Ronaldo catches up with Manchester United team-mates

Cristiano Ronaldo made only his third appearance against Manchester United last night since joining Real Madrid in 2008.

The Portuguese striker came on for a 15 minute cameo at the end and was unable to help Madrid turn the game around thanks to Ashley Young‘s brace and Javier Hernandez’s header.

Before the game, Ronaldo spoke to MUTV about how much the club still means to him and after the final whistle, Ronaldo paid a visit to see some of his old United team-mates to catch-up.

It’s great to see Ronaldo keep up appearances at United whenever he can.

As we touched on earlier, Ronaldo had already been speaking to MUTV and Paddy Crerand didn’t mince his words when asking him a question.

“When are you coming back?” Crerand said straight faced.

With United out of European football, it will be at least another year before United could get the chance to play Real Madrid and Ronaldo again.
