Every Manchester United fans’ favourite Chilean Arturo Vidal is now in Asia with Juventus on their pre-season tour.
Vidal, 27, flew out amid intense speculation a move to Old Trafford is imminent as reported by the Chilean press and there were also plenty of questions being asked about his general fitness due to his knee condition.
Since going to Asia, the daily stream of Vidal updates from the Italian and Chilean press have died down somewhat and it has quietened down with regards to any potential move for him.
If his latest update is anything to go by, Vidal’s having a great time out in Asia with some of his Juventus team-mates (unlike Carlos Tevez…)

Vidal could be in action as early as Wednesday afternoon if he is fit enough to play and Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri will certainly want to gauge where his fitness levels are.
Here is Juventus’ full schedule for their pre-season tour:
6 August Juventus v ISL Stars at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Kick-off 15.00 (CET)
10 August Juventus v A-League All-Stars at ANZ Stadium, Kick-off 11.30 (CET)
16 August Juventus v Singapore All-Stars at New Singapore National Stadium, Kick-off 12.00 (CET)
It will be interesting to see how much football Vidal does actually play out in Asia and United would certainly be keeping an eye on his performances as well because if the club were to make a move for him, they’d need to do so in confidence that an Owen Hargreaves situation wouldn’t repeat itself.
