Manchester United transfer gossip: Falcao talks opened, Hernandez to Madrid and Vidal still an option

by Sam Peoples

Here is the latest Manchester United transfer gossip from around the web including a deal with Real Madrid for Javier Hernandez and surprising reports of a potential move for AS Monaco’s Radamel Falcao.

Gianluca di Marzio reports that a deal for Javier Hernandez to join Real Madrid on loan has been agreed. The Mexican striker will earn €3.5m a year and the deal will have a €22m end of loan purchase clause. Hernandez remains one of the best poachers in the game and deserves more game time, something he wouldn’t get at United this season.

– Radamel Falcao isn’t a player any United fans expected to be linked with but RMC in France suggest United have held talks with his agent Jorge Mendes, a man who is very familiar in dealing with United. The initial reports have escalated to the point where there are claims of an undisclosed bid from United.

The Guardian says United aren’t ruling out a deadline day move for Arturo Vidal. It would take some brilliant negotiations for a deal to sign Vidal to be completed at this late stage by Ed Woodward.

– Meanwhile, the Manchester Evening News say Daley Blind is the last signing United will make this summer.
