Radamel Falcao plays for the first time since joining Manchester United

Radamel Falcao came on for the last 15 minutes in Colombia’s friendly against Brazil last night to play football for the first time since completing his move to Manchester United.

With only ten men on the pitch, Falcao played as an isolated striker up top but was unable to influence the game as Colombia struggled to hold possession for long.

Falcao almost had one goalscoring opportunity when a cross was going to land right on his head but Maicon stepped in to clear for a corner.

The game was very physical so United fans will just be happy Falcao got some game time and he looked fit in his short cameo.

When Falcao’s name was up on the fourth official’s board, the stadium came alive and he carries a superstar aura around with him because that’s exactly what he is.

The clock is now counting down until Falcao could be making his debut for United at Old Trafford against QPR next Sunday.
