Manchester United could be boosted by the return of Rafael this weekend after the Brazilian took part in full training this week.
The Brazilian has not played any part in United’s season so far after being sent home with a groin injury from the pre-season tour of USA and United have sorely missed having a natural right-back in the side.
Back towards the end of the August, Rafael said he was very close to returning from injury and by the sounds of it he hasn’t had any setbacks since then.
The beginning of this season for United has not gone to plan. Injuries have ravaged the first-team available to Van Gaal and the players who have been available for selection simply haven’t performed well enough.
However, the international break has given a lot of players more time to recuperate and with the addition of some world class signings, the United side who walks out against QPR on Sunday could be very different to the one that drew to Burnley.
