Radamel Falcao has wasted no time in getting acquainted with Juan Mata by sending him a message of thanks for welcoming him to Manchester United.
Writing in his weekly blog, Mata said he was looking forward to working with the ‘extraordinary’ Falcao at United this season and the striker reciprocated by saying he was excited to get started with his new team-mates.
Falcao is yet to meet any of the players but will do so very soon when the squad returns from international duty.
United now have a Spanish speaking armada at the club in Mata, De Gea, Herrera, Rojo, Di Maria and Falcao. Louis van Gaal might have told his squad they must speak English earlier on this summer but there could be a few Spanish whispers around Carrington.
There is a chance that all six players could start against QPR at the weekend and if that was the case, Falcao, Di Maria and Rojo would be making their Old Trafford debut
