Radamel Falcao wants to settle down at Manchester United for a long time and help to make history at the club.
The Colombian striker was unveiled this afternoon by United after completing a one-year loan move on transfer deadline day.
Speaking to the press, Falcao said settling down at United was something he was keen to do after spending the past few years of his career at multiple clubs around Europe.
When asked if he intended to stay for a long time, Falcao told reporters: “Yes. I hope to stay for many years at Manchester United + make history at this club.”
As Falcao has joined on a one-year loan deal, United will have to pay a substantial amount on top of the £20m Falcao will cost to be a United player this season but Van Gaal has hinted that making Falcao’s move to Old Trafford permanent is a possibility.
