Angel di Maria was named Manchester United’s Man of the Match against QPR but there were plenty of players who deserved recognition for their performances on Sunday.
Daley Blind played an unadventurous, efficient game of football and it was his work in the middle that made everything happen for United.
His midfield partner Ander Herrera was far more forward thinking in a slightly advanced role and he really bridged the gap between midfield and attack very well.
As for Radamel Falcao, it wasn’t the goalscoring debut he would have wanted but it was still great to see him in a United shirt.
