Manchester United are interested in signing Dutch midfielder Tahith Chong after being impressed by his performances in the Premier Cup tournament last month, according to Daily Mail.
United have invited Chong over to Carrington to watch him train and will be keen to secure a deal if he impresses the coaching staff.
The 15-year-old was part of a Feynoord side that was knocked out in the semi-final of the Premier Cup after losing a penalty shoot-out 5-4.
United have already signed a Dutch youngster in 16-year-old Timothy Fosu Mensah and Chong’s arrival would make it three Dutch players, alongside Daley Blind, who have moved to Old Trafford since Louis van Gaal took over.
Van Gaal has reiterated on more than one occasion that he has a long-term plan that focuses heavily on the youth of United and Chong could become another player involved in his vision.
