Radamel Falcao continued a long-standing tradition with his father by sending him a signed Manchester United shirt to be put on the wall in his restaurant.
Falcao’s father owns a restaurant called La Cueva Del Tigre and has a signed shirt from every club his son has played at (River Plate, FC Porto, Atletico Madrid and AS Monaco).
Now he has been sent a signed United shirt to complete the collection.
“For my dad with love, the day I signed with Manchester United 01/09/14,” Falcao wrote on the shirt.
Falcao has presented himself very well since joining United. Humble in the way he speaks and thankful of where he now finds himself, the 28-year-old comes across very well.
What is clear is that family and religion are so important to Falcao just like with so many other South American players and if Falcao manages to achieve his goals at United to become a club legend, it could be one of the last shirts to go up on the wall.
