Manchester United signing Radamel Falcao will go down in Premier League history as one of the biggest and most surprising deadline day transfers ever.
It wasn’t until reports from Colombia early in the morning suggested it was a possibility that the thought of Falcao moving to Old Trafford was even entertained.
Then after a whirlwind 24 hours, Falcao was pictured holding his United shirt after completing a one-year loan move but the Colombian has revealed how worried he was that a transfer wasn’t going to happen.
Speaking to a Christian church recently since completing his move, Falcao was concerned that no team would want to sign him because of what happened with his injury and became so desperately worried about a move not happening that he prayed with a pastor in a bathroom.
Not long after, his move to United was finalised so his prayers were answered.
