Jonny Evans could be ruled out for a month with injury

Manchester United’s injury problems look set to continue as Jonny Evans could be ruled out for up to a month, according to the Daily Mail.

Evans left the King Power Stadium on crutches at the weekend after suffering an injury against Leicester and reports suggest United’s initial scan revealed the defender could be missing for four weeks.

United have had rotten luck with defensive injuries this season and with both Phil Jones and Jonny Evans ruled out of the game against West Ham this weekend, as well as Tyler Blackett who is suspended, United are likely to Marcos Rojo and Chris Smalling in central defence.

Given how injury prone United’s defenders have been over the years, it comes as no surprise that there is already an injury crisis but it is frustrating for fans nevertheless.

If Evans is indeed ruled out for a month, he could potentially return in time for United’s game against Chelsea on 26 October.
