Manchester United fans will have to wait to find out the extent of Ander Herrera‘s back injury after the midfielder was substituted in the second half against West Ham.
Herrera’s grimaced face was the last thing United fans wanted to see given that the 25-year-old has already missed part of the Premier League season through injury.
The Spaniard has had such a positive impact at United this season that it would be a real blow if he were to be ruled out once again and the full extent of his injury won’t be known until he has a scan.
If Herrera is ruled out, Darren Fletcher is likely to step in to replace him.
Three very important points! I hope my back is fine soon. Thanks for your messages! pic.twitter.com/n3wddJ0W4d

The extent of Herrera’s injury is likely to be revealed tomorrow or early next week dependent on when the club wants to release the results of his scan.
