Andreas Pereira has enjoyed an exciting few weeks of progress for his Manchester United career and looks set to continue that pattern with a place in the match day squad this weekend.
The 18-year-old was made a surprising appearance on United’s bench for the 4-0 win over Queens Park Rangers and could be part of United’s squad to face West Ham.
If he does get the chance then Pereira could make his full competitive debut for United and it would mark the culmination of a strong start to the season for the Belgian born Brazilian midfielder.
Pereira is ready if Louis van Gaal does decide to call on him and feels prepared for the occasion.

As far as individual talent goes, Pereira is one of the stand-out candidates from United’s academy sides but it has always been consistency that his game lacked. He could be brilliant for one match and invisible in the next.
Under the guidance of Van Gaal, Pereira will hopefully find that consistency and if he can marry that with his talent, there is every chance he’ll follow in the footsteps of Adnan Januzaj and burst onto the scene.
