Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Old Trafford in November to play Portugal friendly against Argentina

Portugal are set to face off against Argentina in a glamorous international friendly at Old Trafford on 18 November according to various reports including O Jogo and Sport.es.

It will be only the second time since he left in 2009 that Cristiano Ronaldo will play at Old Trafford and Manchester United fans will have plenty of reason to watch the game.

As well as the return of Ronaldo, Angel di Maria and Marcos Rojo will be in action for Argentina, as will Lionel Messi of course, while Nani is likely to play for Portugal and William Carvalho.

The game will also be the first time Ronaldo has faced off against Di Maria since the Argentinian moved to United in the summer.

International breaks are usually an extremely tepid affair but this will give United fans one reason to enjoy it.
