Manchester United confirm Park Ji Sung role as club ambassador

Manchester United have announced that Park Ji Sung will has been appointed as an ambassador for the club.

Park will represent United around the world at various events and after the sale of Shinji Kagawa in the summer, his return allows United to stay closely connected to the Asian market which has become so important in the growth of United’s corporate arm.

Before kick-off against Everton on Sunday, Park will be re-introduced to Old Trafford and will come out onto the pitch with Sir Alex Ferguson which should be a great moment for him.

Speaking about his appointment, Park said: “I have fond memories of my time at Manchester United and I am delighted and honoured to have become an ambassador for the club.

“Some of the best moments of my life and career were spent here and I will never forget the great support I had from the club and the fans. I am looking forward to once again representing United and sharing some of these memories with our global fanbase.”
