Dinamo Zagreb’s executive director Zdravko Mamic has insisted they will ‘definitely’ be buying Angelo Henriquez in the summer.
The 20-year-old joined Dinamo on a season long loan with an option to make the deal permanent and Mamic’s comments indicate the Chilean striker will be on his way to Dinamo on a permanent basis.
“Yes, definitely we buy contract Angelo Henriquez from Manchester United!” he proclaimed.
Henriquez has enjoyed a brilliant start to his loan spell out at Dinamo having scored six goals in his first seven appearances for the club, including a hat-trick against rivals Lokomotiv Zagreb this weekend.
Fernando Felichevic, the agent of Henriquez, is believed to have close links to the Croatian club which is in part why he moved there on loan.
As we alluded to earlier, Henriquez faces an uphill struggle to make a career at United simply because of how much competition there is for places in the squad and by the sounds of it, Dinamo have every intention of making his loan move permanent come the end of this season.
