Radamel Falcao will start and captain Colombia tonight in their international friendly against El Salvador.
The striker did feature against Brazil from the bench but it is the first time Falcao will start for Colombia since suffering a cruciate ligament injury back in January which ruled him out of the World Cup.
Given how important playing for his country is to Falcao, this will be a massive step for him on his road back to full fitness and hopefully he’ll be able to mark his return with a goal (or three) against El Salvador.
Falcao has improved with every game at Manchester United and will be brimming with confidence going into the game against El Salvador having scored his first goal for the club against Everton last weekend.
We’ll bring you a full report on how Falcao played against El Salvador as well as videos of any goals he scores.
