New Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo hasn’t been shy in taking to Instagram to give fans a closer look into his life since joining the club at the end of August and the centre-back took to the outlet again today to post a pre-training image alongside Radamel Falcao.
The pair have returned from varying international breaks and were pictured smiling into the camera as Louis van Gaal got his side in shape for Monday night’s match against West Bromwich Albion.
The Colombian striker endured a more successful break than his South American compatriot, scoring his first goal in over a year for his national side against El Salvador and was unlucky not to add to his tally having seen a goal wrongly disallowed in the second match against Canada.
Rojo experienced a less successful break as the World Cup finalists were beaten 2-0 by rivals Brazil in Beijing but did overcome Hong Kong in a convincing 7-0 victory, although the centre-back was left on the bench for the match.
The good news was that neither player picked up an injury during the break as everyone returned to the club fit an ready for Monday’s match with West Brom. Angel Di Maria also played against Brazil but, like Rojo, was left on the bench for the Hong Kong thrashing although Di Maria did play the final 20 minutes.
