Manchester United supporters had an unlikely hero on Monday night when Marouane Fellaini popped up with a great finish to draw the side level just minutes after being brought on by manager Louis van Gaal.
This is the same Fellaini who has done nothing of the sorts since joining.
Fellaini has been a failure since his arrival at Old Trafford under David Moyes so when he was introduced by for Ander Herrera at half-time, it was met with some bemoans and grains, and a sing-song.
Soon, a lot of United fans were happily eating humble pie.
Emotions changed within minutes of the Belgian’s entrance. After struggling in his first season at Old Trafford, Fellaini was still without a first team goal for the club but soon put that to bed.
Chesting down a long ball into the box, Fellaini turned his defender and smashed the ball into the top corner.
Bloody hell did I see that right? Fellaini? Haha what a goal.

Fellaini went on to have a good second half. His passing was accurate, he won the ball back several times and was a general nuisance in the West Brom box on a positive night for the midfielder where good performances were few and far between for the away side.
