Adnan Januzaj and Luke Shaw have both been shortlisted for the 2014 European Golden Boy Award.

Handed to the best youngster in European football, the prestigious award organised by Italian newspaper Tuttosport sees football journalists across Europe name who they feel is Europe’s best player under the age of 21.

Won by the likes of Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney, Isco (pictured), Sergio Aguero and Paul Pogba (and Anderson…), a lot of the previous winners have gone on to have fantastic careers in football.

Januzaj and Shaw, both 19, will be up against other youngsters such as Paris St Germain’s Marquinhos, Barcelona’s Munir and Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling.
