Wayne Rooney and Radamel Falcao are injury concerns for Manchester United ahead of the derby this weekend but there is a possibility both will play.
United have been without Rooney for the last three games and Juan Mata has failed to adequately deputise in his absence.
Due to that, Rooney will walk back straight into the team if fit, especially up against Manchester City, whom he loves scoring against.
As for Falcao, current reports suggest he has suffered a muscular injury an may be force to miss a couple of weeks to help it repair but if Falcao returns, he’d offer something Robin van Persie is unable to do as a lone-striker: mobility.
It’s a testament to the strength of the squad that Van Persie could sit on the bench and United could still feel a team of that strength.
