Here is the latest Manchester United news from all around the web including Javier Hernandez intimating he is happy to remain at Real Madrid after his loan spell and reports suggest Anderson’s contract could be cut short.
Louis van Gaal made a swathe of changes to United during the summer and is expected to make plenty more in the upcoming transfer windows. One player who is on his way out is Anderson and reports even suggest United are willing to buy out the remaining £1.4m on his contract to get him out of the club as soon as possible.
United doing so is effectively accepting the fact no club wants to buy Anderson, not even for free. If Van Gaal is that keen for Anderson to leave, then so be it. For United, they would have paid that remaining £1.4m in wages if he stayed so it doesn’t change much in that respect.
Another player who could be on his way out is Javier Hernandez. Speaking to ESPN, the Mexican striker said it was a dream to be playing for the Spanish club and intimated he would be happy to remain at Madrid after his loan spell finished.
With Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Radamel Falcao and James Wilson in the first team, as well as Will Keane and Angelo Henriquez coming through below, it’s unlikely Hernandez will feature for United again.
David de Gea was shortlisted for the Northwest Player of the Year Award while James Wilson was named on the five man shortlist for the Rising Star Awards, so congratulations to the pair.
Elsewhere, The Mirror say Van Gaal is considering a cut-price move for Aston Villa’s Ron Vlaar in January to help fix United’s defensive problems.
