Here is the latest Manchester United news including an update from Spain on David de Gea‘s dislocated finger and reports suggesting that David Moyes is interested in signing Ashley Young for Real Madrid.
David de Gea has been in the press this week for all the wrong reasons after he dislocated his little finger during a training ground incident and there were real worries he wouldn’t be fit to face Arsenal next weekend.
However, there is now some positive news on an update. De Gea’s injury hasn’t forced him to withdraw from Spain duty and he took part in the pre-game warm-up for Spain last night, something he certainly wouldn’t be doing if he was nursing a bad injury.
The last thing this United squad needs is for our goalkeeper to miss some game time through injuries.
Elsewhere, United are once again being linked with a move for Nicolas Gaitan which is an altogether strange story. Gaitan was available for the past couple of years but United didn’t make a move. Despite that, it hasn’t stopped fresh links from re-surfacing just when you thought the Gaitan saga transfer has seen his best.
