Marouane Fellaini took to social media like several of his team mates to express his joy at Manchester United’s 2-1 victory against Arsenal, their first away win of a very up and down season.
Birthday boy Fellaini, who turned 27 on the day of the match, was again influential in the way Manchester United played and appears to have become a regular fixture in Louis van Gaal‘s plans.
Whilst his team mates took to Instagram, Fellaini tweeted the ever-familiar image of the squad celebrating Wayne Rooney‘s second goal on his social media account after another performance where he continues to slowly win around sections of the Manchester United support.
Ever since Fellaini was brought on at half-time against West Brom in a 2-2 draw in which he scored his first goal for the club, he has looked much more like the Fellaini of Everton rather than the midfielder that regularly struggled in the team’s midfield throughout his debut season.
With the club’s midfield options once again thin on the ground after Daley Blind picked up an injury on international duty which may keep him out for a while, Fellaini’s return to top form is a boost to everyone at Old Trafford and many fans will be pleased to see him turn things around at the club.
