Marcos Rojo could return to action for Manchester United as early as next week after continuing to train back at Carrington.
Given that initial reports feared Rojo could be out for anything up to three months with a dislocated shoulder, it’s a remarkably quick recovery from the Argentinian defender.
The Guardian believes Rojo is unlikely to be ready in time for United’s game against Hull this weekend but with fixtures against Stoke City and Southampton coming up in quick succession soon after, there will be plenty of opportunity for Rojo to make his return.
Rojo might not have been the most accomplished defender in his first few appearances for United but had experience and that’s not something United’s current squad has in abundance.
As soon as he is fit again, Rojo will walk straight back into United’s staring XI so Louis van Gaal will want him back 100% fit as soon as possible.
