Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata took to Twitter after the 3-0 win over Hull City to join in the celebrations and express his happiness over the three points.
Mata was making his first start for the club since the 1-1 draw against his former side Chelsea and had a good game where he linked up well with fellow Spaniard, Ander Herrera.
After scoring the crucial winner a fortnight ago against Crystal Palace, Mata was dropped to the bench for the victory over Arsenal last week but returned to the starting line-up on Saturday, playing in a deeper role behind a three consisting of Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Angel Di Maria.
Mata didn’t score but put in a tidy performance and was quick to take to Twitter after the match to express his joy at the win.
Injury to Angel Di Maria means Mata will probably keep his place in the starting line-up against Stoke City on Tuesday but the return of Ander Herrera and Radamel Falcao gives Louis van Gaal several rotation options in the attacking third of the field.
