Monaco and France left-back Layvin Kurzawa has dropped his biggest hint yet that he wants to play for Manchester United in the future.
Kurzawa, 22, was linked heavily with a move to Old Trafford last season after a breakthrough campaign with club and country but the move to bring in Luke Shaw put pay to the defender’s dream for the time being.
It’s not the first time the Monaco man has professed his love for United and with a lack of proper cover at left-back and a never ending injury crisis, United will still surely be looking at left-sided defensive options for the future.
Kurzawa has become a regular for Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco and made his debut for the France national team just last month, emphasising the rate of improvement shown by the left-back over the past 12 months.
Speaking to BeIN Sports about the rumours, Kurzawa said: “The club of my dreams? Manchester United. It is one of my goals to play there one day.”
Luke Shaw has been one of the shining lights of United’s season so far and given the fee paid out for such a young, homegrown talent it would be unthinkable to suggest the club would bring in a player expecting to be a regular such as Kurzawa.
