De Gea given Pink Floyd “The Wall” tribute by Norwegian newspaper

Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang dedicated the front page of their sports pull-out yesterday to David de Gea after his stunning performance against Liverpool.

Using the cover for Pink Floyd’s 1982 album “The Wall” as inspiration, VG dubbed De Gea as the wall which United built their 3-0 victory on.

It’s a great tribute and an apt nickname for a player who really has been a brick wall at the back for United this season.

Having won multiple Player of the Month awards for United already this season, De Gea is certainly doing all he can to be chosen for December’s Player of the Month as well.

Voters on Sky Sports News went as far as to say De Gea is the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment.
