Manchester United’s young goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic has today played a game behind closed doors against Wolves at the AON Training Complex, according to reports.
Milinkovic joined United from Serbian side FK Vojvodina in the summer but was immediately loaned back out, so it will be the first time he has played for United since completing a successful trial ahead of his move in the summer.
Back with Vojvodina in Serbia, Milinkovic has enjoyed plenty of senior football this season and standing at 6ft 7″tall, he has certainly got a big presence for somebody who is only 17-years-old.
There are plenty of young goalkeepers already at United including Joel Castro Pereira and Kieran O’Hara but Milinkovic made such an impression on his trial that he earned a move to United, so the staff must have been very impressed.
We’ll continue to bring you the latest updates about Milinkovic and will be chatting to some Serbian football specialists this week to get some more insight into how he is getting on back at Vojvodina.
