Ander Herrera trained with Manchester United this week for the first time since missing the last three games through illness and the Spaniard will be itching to get straight back on the pitch.
As Marouane Fellaini has suffered a fractured rib, Herrera has the opportunity to make himself a crucial member of the first-team once again like he was back in October before a fractured rib halted his progress.
Although Fellaini has showed vastly improved performances since his goal against West Brom, the Belgian midfielder doesn’t bring the same levels of creativity which is why Herrera’s return has been so welcomed by United fans.

With Herrera back in action, United’s injury problems take a step in the right direction but there are still plenty of important players currently sidelined including Angel di Maria, Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo and Fellaini.
