Daley Blind appears to be getting ever closer to making his Manchester United return after sending a message to supporters on his Twitter account.
The midfielder has been missing for nearly two months now after picking up a knee injury playing for Holland in a friendly back in November.
Blind had proved a popular signing after bring an air of calmness to a midfield that had proved to be erratic and sometimes low on quality in recent seasons but his injury worked out nicely for Marouane Fellaini who thrived in his absence.
It has also allowed Michael Carrick to return to top form and Blind may struggle to walk straight back into the team now he is ready for a return.
Rumours aired during the week that Blind could play as early as the Yeovil Town game on Sunday afternoon and it was confirmed last week that the Netherlands international was back training with the first team squad.
With Ander Herrera and Adnan also back in full training, Marouane Fellaini soon expected back from his virus and Rafael, Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw all returning in the past week, United’s injury crisis finally appears to be easing.
