It’s been a very busy 24 hours for Manchester United since our last round-up of confirmed transfers.
As we reported yesterday, Sam Johnstone has joined Doncaster Rovers on a one-month loan move while Victor Valdes agreed a contract with Man United. There is no official confirmation the latter but it is a matter of when and not if the announcement will be made.
Today, United have announce Michael Keane has left the club on a permanent transfer to Burnley. The 21-year-old defender had been at United since 2009 but after impressing on a loan move from the start of this season, he has earned a permanent transfer.
Man United also announced that Ben Pearson has joined League One side Barnsley on a one-month loan spell. It is the first time that the 20-year-old has gone out on loan and it will be exciting seeing how he gets on because he is considered a great midfield prospect.
As well as all the movement that is happening so far, there are still plenty of other deals which could be announced before the January window shuts.
Valdes’ arrival indicates reports of Ben Amos and Anders Lindegaard leaving are true and the latest update suggest Lindegaard could potentially join Molde in Norway.
There is also the potential for Tom Cleverley and Anderson leaving on permanent deals if United find a buyer.
