Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is continuing to be secretive on Manchester United’s plans for the January transfer window.
It has become a theme that the manager is regularly asked about his strategy given the amount of speculation surrounding the club this month but van Gaal continues to be unmoved.
Victor Valdes arrived at the club on Thursday night but speculation has continued with the likes of Mats Hummels, Diego Godin, Ron Vlaar and Kevin Strootman being linked to the club.
Whilst there has been no flat out denial so far this month from van Gaal regarding further arrivals, the manager is adamant that any business will be done within the walls of Old Trafford.
“I will not discuss issue. You can ask in different way but I will not discuss answer,” said Van Gaal.
“We were the first to buy. We were very quick to buy Valdes. You notice? Manchester – we deal quickly. When we can, we deal quickly.”
United were also quick to buy in the summer, van Gaal saying a player could be bought within 24 hours and soon after Daley Blind and Radamel Falcao both arrived on deadline day, the latter taking everyone by complete surprise.
