Manchester United have agreed to sell Angelo Henriquez for €1m to Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.
Coach Zoran Mamic confirmed the news to Prensa Futbol which will see Henriquez make his loan move permanent having been at Zagreb since the start of the season.
“We have bought him outright for €1m,” Mamic said.
“We have already signed a contract with him for the summer.
“There is no doubt it is ours and deal is resolved.”
Henriquez has enjoyed a prolific loan spell with Zagreb that saw him named in the Croatian Team of the Half-Season awarded to the best XI players before the winter break and United fans were very impressed with his consistent goalscoring ability, whether it was with United’s U21s or on loan at Zagreb.
However, the writing has been on the wall for Henriquez ever since James Wilson burst onto the scene because if he couldn’t get higher up the pecking order than an 18-year-old, his chances were always going to be very limited.
What do you think about selling Angelo Henriquez? We’ll be publishing a fans’ reaction later today.
