Luke Shaw has been training hard with Manchester United this week ahead of their away trip to QPR on Saturday.
The 19-year-old started against Southampton last weekend but was taken off by Louis van Gaal as he wasn’t yet ready to complete 90 minutes.
However, after another week’s worth of training, United fans are hoping Shaw can play the full game at Loftus Road.
Ashley Young is sidelined with a hamstring injury so Shaw has come straight back in as Van Gaal’s first choice left-back and he will want to see him find his best form if he can get a consistent run of appearances.
Denis Irwin and Arthur Albiston have been full of praise for Shaw today and firmly he believe he has what it takes to fulfil the potential which United paid £27m for in the summer.
At a small ground like Loftus Road, Shaw should be able to get up and down the pitch well but equally so, he’ll need to be disciplined so as to not expose United’s left hand flank.
