Manchester United are set to be in a tricky situation with Anderson as no club has shown any interest in signing him in the January transfer window, report The Telegraph.
If the window closes and Anderson remains then Man United could choose to cut their losses and terminate his contract, ending what has been a hugely underwhelming eight years with the club.
The Brazilian midfielder hasn’t made a first-team appearance since August and only made a surprise reappearance in the match day squad with a place on the bench against Yeovil Town, such is Louis van Gaal‘s belief in him.
Man United fans have given up any hope of Anderson turning his career round at Old Trafford and it has now reached the stage where his presence has become nothing more than an expensive nuisance to the club.
If Anderson was keen to play football, he would lower his wage demands and accept a move to a new club where he could rebuild his football career. Instead, he is choosing to remain at United on big wages and run down his time until Louis van Gaal gets rid of him. That conscious choice reflects his lack of desire to make a career for himself.
Anderson situation is pathetic, no team wants him

Is it actually surprising no one's bid for Anderson?! Terminate his contract an run him, simple.

Darren Fletcher has shown how adversity can be overcome with grit and determination. On the other hand, Anderson has shown what happens when you are willing to accept the situation you’re in and enjoy the easy ride.
When Anderson leaves Man United he will be remembered as a Brazilian who came to the club with so much promise but ultimately he will be remembered as one of the worst ever signings by Sir Alex Ferguson. Hopefully that happens sooner rather than later as he is unnecessarily taking up a spot in the first-team squad.
