Manchester United have announced a deal with Swiss online financial and trading services provider Swissquote.
An official statement from the club confirmed the agreement and Swissquote have become the latest in a long line of companies to have joined Man United’s corporate arm.
This is the second deal Man United have completed in the last seven days having already announced an agreement with social games partner KamaGames, so while the club is remaining quiet on the transfer front there is plenty of activity behind the scenes.
Man United’s big global push to bring on board regional sponsors saw them named second in the Deloitte Money League behind Real Madrid with a total of £363.2m from their 2012/13 revenue.
With an Adidas kit sponsorship deal set to begin in 2015 which will give Man United a world record £75m a year as well as other new revenue streams which have been generated, it means United’s financial power is only going to keep getting bigger.
The club spent a record £150m in the summer and Louis van Gaal is expected to be given more funds over the next few transfer windows in order to build the squad he feels he needs to compete in the Premier League and Champions League once again.
