Juan Mata wishes Anderson good luck in Brazil

Juan Mata has wished Anderson good luck on his move back to Brazil before Manchester United have officially confirmed the midfielder is leaving the club.

Anderson looks set to join Brazilian side Internacional to put an end to a stop start eight year association with Man United.

Although the news hasn’t yet been announced by Man United, writing on his weekly blog Mata said: “Also, I want to wish good luck to my friend Anderson, who is back to football in his native Brazil. All the best, my friend!”

Earlier in January reports suggested there had been no interest from any club in Anderson but that situation changed for the better and the 26-year-old now looks to finally be on his way out of Old Trafford.

Fan reaction to news Anderson is leaving Man United

Anderson’s career at Man United will go down as one of the most unfulfilled ever. Thanks to a succession of injuries, combined with a poor attitude, he was never able to consistently hold down a place in Man United’s starting XI.

Luckily for Anderson, time is still on his hands and he has the ability to forge a new career out in Brazil given that he is still only 26.
