Anderson has signed a four-year deal with Brazilian side Internacional which puts an end to his eight year association with Manchester United.
The 26-year-old was pictured training with Internacional yesterday but until now there had been no official confirmation of the move.
Anderson will be unveiled by Internacional later this evening having already put pen to paper on his new deal.
At 26, Anderson has plenty of time on his hands if he wants to try and make a go of his football career again and back in his homeland Brazil, he may well be more motivated.
Unfortunately, it never quite worked out for Anderson at Man United. Through a combination of bad injuries and poor application, Anderson was never able to make the most of his potential at Old Trafford.
After years of perennial injuries, unfulfilled potential and fans being frustrated at Anderson, the curtains have now been pulled on one of the most disappointing careers any player has ever had at Man United.
